I fear that I've been in writing overdrive recently, so this post is just a collection of imagery from my files, which explores in some way the ideas of purity, restraint, cleanness and minimalism in design - ideas which are, of course, having a bit of a 'fashion moment' right now, thanks to Phoebo Philo's work at Celine, and the general reaction against the flashy, 80s look that has dominated fashion recently. The pictures are not categorised in any way (lazy, I know! Think of it more as a stream of consciousness), but I still find that there's something quite refreshing about this set of images, all of which I saved or bookmarked at some point in the past.
