Sorry for lacking updates today

Apologies for lack of updates over the last few days. We've been tres stressed trying to sort out an internet fraud situation and dealing with the police is a little, shall we say, taxing on the spirit.

To fill in until tomorrow when we'll start posting again, let's just have one last marvel at those (yes, THOSE) YSL heels from fall/winter 2008, before they're consigned to fashion history as we move into the spring/summer season and the world of the YSL cage boot.

We never got why some had blue soles, some had yellow soles and some had non-coloured soles. It's not just the different styles have different colours, because we've seen boots with yellow and pumps with blue.

Poor old Louboutin, everyone's doing the coloured-sole thing these days (Versace have recently been using a shade of pink which is dangerously close to his red), and these new colours just look so much fresher (though we should note that because of the way fashion is within a few months we'll all be bored with new colours and clamouring for classic red once again).

A few styles of the boot/shoe are still available to buy from the YSL online store, with quite good sales reductions too. (Unbelievably, the ankle boot above still seems to be available in all sizes from 35 to 41, reduced from $1,070 to $599).
